Summary

Metropolitan Build is partnered with a local franchisee to launch the first Scenthound location in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The Metropolitan Build team is managing the in-progress interior build-out of the subscription-based dog wellness facility, navigating an expedited construction schedule alongside complex local mechanical code requirements. Our partnership with this client to build a flagship site has established a long-term relationship to provide design-build services for the franchisee’s future expansion across the metro area.

A National Franchise Coming to St. Louis

Metropolitan Build is partnered with a local franchisee to introduce the first Scenthound location to the St. Louis market. This project marks the debut of a rapidly growing national brand focused on routine dog wellness. The owner, a local entrepreneur, sought to bring a high-standard dog grooming and wellness facility to the community. As the flagship site for a planned expansion of three to four additional locations in the metro area, the project required a build-out that could serve as a high-quality blueprint for future sites.

Continuing Work

Metropolitan Build has acted as a primary problem-solver throughout these delays, coordinating between the out-of-town design team and local county inspectors to push the project forward. We are currently navigating the final mechanical installations and interior finishes, with a projected completion of late May. Our ability to manage unforeseen challenges has helped us to solidify a long-term partnership with the franchisee. We are already looking toward the future to provide design-build services for the next Scenthound locations.
