The leaders behind Metropolitan Build
Jay Simon, President
Jay is the owner and co-founder of Metropolitan Build. He brings strong business, construction management, and value engineering skills to every project, and is a trusted consultant to property owners, facility managers, and developers around the country.
Jay is an expert in finding sources for project financing, including qualifying renovation work for historic tax credits and assisting owners in obtaining funding incentives. He continues to redevelop commercial and select custom residential properties and provide his expertise for Metropolitan Build clients.
Jeff Clark, Vice President
Jeff has over 40 years of experience with design and construction in the greater St. Louis area. With a strong background in historic preservation, Jeff is involved with development planning, assessment, and examination of historic structures.
He also provides planning, designing, budgeting, and construction management expertise, including implementing solution-based remedial initiatives, collaborating with specialty field personnel, and integrated project delivery techniques.
